MONEY AND GOD

God has been trying to teach me for years, that having BILLS IS NOT GODLY and Being Rich is not Godly.
God has taught me- We should give most or all our money to God/tithes and the Poor.

We should be living as Jesus did- and he had very little here and lived only for God, not materal things or anything else. This is why the scriptures say- 'To owe no one notthing but love.'

I had a hard time obeying God on this, but I know I must and go forth to do so.
Enjoy these studys below and May God guide your heart and Bless you as you obey....

‘OWE NO ONE NOTTHING BUT LOVE’….

MONEY:

Making No Bills at all, is something I believe- God expects us to do, and if we are NOT TO BUILD UP IN THE WORLD and KEEP OUR FOCUS ON GOD, We should know –this is the only right way. This may not be easy and may take alot of prayer to succeed, but God wants us to be happy and so, we need to watch out for bills.

It's best we Pay ahead for things or do without. If you have bills now- plan to get things, (like Credit Cards and such)- payed off, and things like your Electric and household bills- Pay ahead.

My husband takes care of the household bills, as he should, and I try to help him pay off and pay ahead instead.

The husband should take care of the finances, as the head of the household, the wife can help, but he should rule over the finances. If he doses not know how- he needs to pray and learn.

If God doses not give us the money or thing we desire- than we don’t need it…this we need not to forget.

Matt. 6:24

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You can not serve both God and money."

Ecc.5:10-15

"Those who love money will never have enough. How absurd to think that wealth brings true happiness!"

Isaiah 55:1-2 "Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink---even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk—it’s all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength?"

2 Tim. 3:1-3 "You should also know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For People will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents and ungrateful."

Matt.6:19-33 "Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty and where thieves can break in and steal."

This doses not mean, God won’t give us nice things, he just don’t want us worried or caught up in worldly riches.

There are so many scriptures warning us against what the world is so caught up in, even those claiming to be Christians.

Here are some things we could do:

Food- have a garden, plant fruit trees, eat with the church.

Shelter-buy only what you can afford and need without owing anyone and/or - find shelter with the church.

Clothing- Given clothes, Buy goodwill.

If you have a lot of money- it is better to give to God and help others, than to spend on worldly riches. Paying your tithes should always come first also.

If you end up in debt- money rules your life and you will have a hard time being close to God and the verse above tells us that. As Christians -Remember this is not our home. And remember to- God is all we need, he takes care of us.

PRIDE:

What a big no, no , that can destroy us all. This may be our greatest struggle in America…living in one of the richest ($) countrys… most of us definatly At times struggle with this sin….

Being proud of our houses, cars, etc.

But as Christians we should know and must remember- everything we have is Gods, he has allowed us to have the things we have.

So, we should be thankful and take care of what he has given us and SHARE what we have with our sisters and brothers in Christ and always Give to the needy.

As Christians- God is trusting we will be good stewards , that’s why we have what we have. Being good stewards is not braging or being prideful of something that belongs to God, and above all-God doses not want us to be selfish with what we have either.

God provides our needs and with paying our tithes….. he can bless us so much…. With plenty of food, a nice house and nice clothes (without dedt), or/and Spiritual things we are blessed with…. These things are Godly riches.

Worldly riches…. Means dedt usually and/or building up in the world- two or more houses, several cars ,etc for ourself. (which we are warned not to do as Christians)….. these are riches from Satan that he trys to destroy us with… and Pride is a big part of these riches.

So, rid of braging and foolish Pride… It is foolish and not needed for the Saints of God.

We should have our focus on God and not material things that will rust and decay in time.

Pro. 8:13

Gal. 6:4

Jas. 1:9

"To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech."
